4 Cheap Homemade Facial Masks

Facemasks have been around for years. They are effective and great way to nourish your skin for beautiful, glowing, fresh skin. Instead of paying top dollars for expensive masks that will eat your budget. Why not try one of these simple easy to do your self homemade facial masks that will leave your skin feeling great. 

Before applying any facemask make sure you wash your face fist to help get rid of any makeup dirt etc. This will give the mask full effect.

 

1.) The most simplest and cheapest facemask is known as the milk mask. You need a little bowl of milk and, a cotton ball. You will dip your cotton ball in the milk and gently rub all over your face. Let sit for 10-20 minutes and rinse. Super easy and cheap. Your face will love it and it is great for all skin types.

2.) This is a great Facemask that smells yummy. The yogurt inside will help cleanse your skin and the fruits will provide vitamin's and minerals to. For dry skin you might want to add a little bit more oil, for combination use half and if oily skin you don't need to add. Here is what you will need

1/2 teaspoon of yogurt

1 teaspoon of Lemon juice

1 teaspoon of Orange Juice

1 teaspoon of Carrot Juice

1 teaspoon of Olive Oil or coconut oil

Mix the ingredient's in a bowl and apply to your face with clean fingers or a cotton ball. Let stand for 10-20 minutes and rinse.

3.) This mask is great for tightening your skin. You will just need 2 large eggs. You will want to separate the egg yolk from the egg whites. You will then use a cotton ball and apply the egg whites to your face. Let stand for 10 - 20 minutes and rinse. This will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth and will help tighten and help prevent wrinkles. This is one of my favorites because it is really cheap and works. Not recommended for those with egg allergies.

4.) Carrot and Coconut Face Mask. This is another one of my favorite masks Carrots are a natural Antiseptic, and they are full of Beta-Carotene and iron, which is why it may help tone and clarify your skin. Carrots may also help reduce blemishes and moisturize dry skin. The coconut oil will also provide moisture while reducing break-outs and eliminating bad oils from your face. When you are finished your face will be left glowing, feeling healthy, moisturized and happy. Your skin tone should be more even and the carrot orange will not dye your skin.

Here is what you are going t o need:

1 carrot, washed with top removed

2 Cups of water

1 Tbsp of Organic Coconut oil

1.)Chop the carrot into 5 or so chunks

2.)Bring the 2 cups of water to a boil in a sauce pan.  Add carrots, reduce heat to low, cover and steam for 8-10 minutes

3.) You will then Drain the water and add carrots to a food processor or blender.  Add coconut oil and blend until smooth, like a puree.

4.) Wash face with olive oil or regular cleanser.

5.)You will then apply face mask to face, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Allow to set about 15-20 minutes

6.)Wash face with warm water, and gently wipe off any remaining bits with a wash cloth.
